BASIC JUICE FAST

 

Five to Ten Days

Morning: Drink eight ounces of pure water with the juice of a half of a lemon. Intestinal cleansing products may also be taken at this time. Drink 1 to 2 glasses of raw apple juice to cleanse the gall bladder or drink other fresh raw fruit juices such as grape or watermelon (rind too) to flush the kidneys. Remember watermelon or fruit juices should be eaten alone.

After drinking watermelon use unsweetened cranberry juice or concentrate (2 tablespoons to 10 ounces of water) to balance the PH of the kidney/bladder after the flush. Using unsweetened juice or concentrate avoids the sugar found in commercial cranberry juices and helps to avoid the growth of unfriendly bacteria.

Noon: Drink raw vegetable juice (as much as desired in any combination). Use carrot juice as a base to aid liver function combined with the juice of ¼ to ½ of a beet, celery, parsley, cucumber or spinach (or other greens) to build the kidneys/bladder. Spirulina may be added to juices for the essential amino-acids which can give you more energy and stamina. All juices should be freshly squeezed and consumed immediately. Take intestinal cleanser.

Daily: Drink at least 1-1/2 to 2 quarts of distilled water.

Dinner: Drink 2 to 3 warm cups of any of the following:

  • Black or red miso broth.
  • Mineral broth, (made as follows):

Cut up 2 medium carrots, 1 bunch of parsley, ½ lb. String beans, 1 onion and a large red sweet potato or a yam. Scrub, cut into chunks and simmer (don’t boil, in 2 quarts of distilled water for 2 or 3 hours until tender and them strain. Drink the broth while still warm and refrigerate the rest. Take intestinal cleanser.

 

Other

Options: Drink herbal teas such a chamomile, mint and comfrey, as much as desired. Jason Winters Tea or Essiac Tea may be used to cleanse the lymphatic system. The Ginger tea is wonderful for cleansing the lymphatic system but it is a stimulant and should not be taken before bedtime. Grate raw ginger root in pure water and simmer half and hour, add honey and lemon to taste.
Master Cleanser: 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon or limejuice, 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup, 1/10 teaspoon of powdered cayenne pepper or 1 T fresh grate ginger in 10 ounces of pure water, hot or cold.

Bedtime: Take Pro-biotic Pearls to replace the natural flora of the intestine.

Note: Having a colon hydrotherapy session or high enema to cleanse the colon during the fast is helpful to avoid the re-absorption of the toxins that are being released. Fasting can slow bowel function because the volume of food is not stimulating like it is used to. Use recommended implant as needed.
